1. Computer Hardware Warranty Policy
The warranty period for computer hardware is One Year (which is covered by our suppliers). Computer peripherals such as keyboards and mouse have a 3 month return to base warranty. The faulty product has to be returned to us for warranty proposes. The item(s) will be sent back to our suppliers, and a replacement/remedy will be return back to the customer as soon as possible. Normal warranty replacements will usually take 5 working days. However, due to stock unavailability from the suppliers, a replacement/remedy may take longer than usual, which is beyond our company¡¯s control. We will endeavor to speed up the warranty process, and without any unnecessary delay.
2.Mobile Phone and Digital Camera Warranty Policy
The warranty period for mobile phones are 14 days from date of purchase. Mobile phones are parallel imported and they are covered by our suppliers warranty. The servicing period for mobile phones will be dependant on the type?of fault.
Warranty will cover any standard manufacturing defects of the product from the factory. Warranty will NOT cover any damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications and any accidental damage to the product due to negligence and installations by an unqualified person.
3.Warranty Return Freight Charger
For all warranty return products, customers have to pay return freight charger for the item. That is becasuse we are try to offer the best price to all our customer. All products sold from PC Pacific are only 1% or 2% margin on top of our cost price. Our margin wont be able to cover all the freight cost.
4. How do I claim warranty?
a) What if my purchased product becomes faulty?
You will need to inform us of the situation, and we will then advise you of a R.A. number, or simply a warranty reference number. You will also need to provide us with a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase. Failure to do so will result in no acceptance of warranty for the returned product as there is no proof of purchase or ownership.
b) What if I had changed my mind on a purchase and decide to get a full refund?
Under the Consumers Guarantees Act, we are not obliged to offer a full refund if you had simply changed your mind on a purchase product. However, if the purchased product becomes faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantees Act to provide a solution or remedy. A refund of a purchase can be made, provided if the item is in its original packaging and brand new, and within seven days from purchase date. A 25% re-stocking fee will also apply for those kinds of refund to cover the cost of administration, testing and the re-sale of the product to other dealers.
These terms and conditions are governed by the New Zealand and any dispute under them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand. |
